Higher Level Teaching Assistant

32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks)

We are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide effective Learning Support to students in and out of the classroom, with a special focus on SEN K students. We are looking to give extra support to students to help them back into education after the enforced school closure and to try and narrow learning gaps the best we can. The post holder is required to have a high level of literacy and numeracy skills and must be committed to contributing to improving the achievement and attainment of our students.

The successful candidate must also be committed to supporting students with disabilities and learning difficulties. An HLTA qualification or evidence of working at this level would be advantageous.
